JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Reporting to Group Controller North America, the assistant Group Controller will execute analysis from internal and external data sources to provide data-driven decision making related to the performance of American companies in the Beretta Holding group.

The successful candidate will liaise with senior level staff across functions of the organization. The candidate will provide meaningful insight to Beretta Holding and to the group companies ultimately improving our financial results.

This position resides at the 3 Arrows Corporate headquarters, located in Accokeek Maryland.

GOAL

Effective collaboration with the Group Controller in supervising and coordinating the financial activities of the US, Canadian and Brazilian companies. To ensure the compliance to the Group standards of the reporting made by the operating companies. To supervise the intra-group transactions. Provide support with dedicate analysis to the Group management decision-making.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ensure the coordination between local and European based management
Supervises the consolidation process for every cycle (monthly, budget, forecast, etc) of the companies
Support the Group Controller in analyzing the monthly results and in evaluate the proposed budgets and strategic plans of the operating companies
Ensure the respect of the reporting due dates by the companies
Supervising intra-group transactions
Perform all the ad hoc analysis eventually needed
Support the local finance and management teams in all their activities, including the economic and financial assessment related to capital investments
Other various project as assigned
Travelling up to 30% of the time to different group subsidiaries sites in US, Canada, and a couple of times a year to Europe to work with different executives and elaborate business analysis for Holding Group

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

Financial Analysis knowledge (work experience with GAAP is preferred).
Expert functional use of Microsoft Excel required (pivot table, business planning, etc).
Strong drive towards innovation and continuous improvement.
Willingness to learn about and work within the firearms, optics and ammo industries.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or another related field required, OR equivalent combination of education and industry specific experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Analysis strongly preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

30% travel required
Frequent and repetitive use of computer and other similar equipment.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking around facility.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
